In terms of the novel, (I am ignoring the donghua) all the Shrek members except for Tang San and Xiao Wu had finished their trials (Xiao Wu's trial is linked with Tang San) and they felt they had spent on the Island long enough and decided to return back to the mainland. This was to revive Xiao Wu and also to help his parents, while the other Shrek was to go and see what the current situation is on the mainland

The donghua made a lot of changes and moved the events around, timeline wise, not to mention a lot of events were removed so a lot of story background, even though it wasnt anything major, it did affect the feel and pacing of the story

Qian Renxue will become level 100, through the sacrifice of her grandfather
Tang San's grandfather, as mentioned in one of my comments left for the Sea God Island to seek out Bo Saixiafter arriving and spending time with her, he dies 3 days later, leaving the Asura Sword for the next Asura successor, it was explained he was poisoned after decades of living at Slaughter City, this is related to Bibi Dong's Rakhasa God

and technically he also left because it was 5 years for test 8 including reviving wu. so basically he was killing two birds with one stone, but he should have focused on the exam like the other one did.

well technically he left the Asura Sword for Tang san and he uses it to beat Bibi Dong with the fusion with Xiao wu. After that he has the choice between 2 gods, god of the ocean or asura god.

They wasted a lot of episodes by dragging out this war, so will be interesting to see how they will handle these episodes. Soul land 2 will be out soon, and it is highly unlikely the studio will spend more resources on extending Soul Land, but we might have a surprise if they do, but somehow personally, I dont see it happening, since they want to move onto Soul Land 2

I have a question. I saw a trailer or some sort of video about Soul land final episode. There are some scene like Tang San got 500000 years or more old yellowish white ring and sea god says you're perfect for it. Then the next scene his clothes are changed in full white and infront of castle of bibi dong. What's that video about then? Is it going to happen or not? Also can you please tell what's the timeline of Soul land2? I mean is that after the extinction of all beast? Will tang san be there or someone else? Please give the answer

Not sure what the video is about, probably clips of various events that occur from now until the end of the novel

Hard to say what the studio plans to do since they have made so many changes and timeline swaps, for the most part they are following certain events yet dropping others

The significant events are as follows:
- Return to Sea God Island to finish his trial by killing the demonic whale which gives him a ring
- Choice of choosing to become the Sea God or Asura God
- Bo Saixi is sacrificed to open the Sea God Temple
-Tang San dies and he is then resurrected by Oscar and Rongrong who are the successors of the Food God and the Nine Coloured Goddess (Talk about plot armour here)
- Both Bone and Sword douluo dies
- Tang San kills Bibi Dong and heavily injures Qian Renxue and strips her of her Angel God, this causes her to demote to level 89 permanently
- The end

Soul Land 2 - The Unrivalled Tang Sect is set 10,000 years after Soul Land, Tang San is a minor character, his screentime will be very small

I think that's the Commercial ad for the game of Soul land where San fully become Sea God and his attached soul bone become its wings and it was also showed there that sea god is barely not enough to face the Angel God Qian Rinxue and Rakhasa God Bibidong at the same time so to face light and darkness, Evilness must be the counter so Asura God is the perfect fit to battle against two god. With the complete death domain and Silver plant emperor domain with Tang san hidden weapons he manage to turn the tides of disadvantage for his counterattack of peerless combine power of Mother and daughter.

This episode is pretty much till chapters 284. Excluding 4-5 chapters already partially adapted, that leaves around 45 chapters still to go.

Excluding intro, outro and recaps, each episode is around 15 minutes so if only 12 episodes + a movie left, that leaves around 4.5h to adapt it all or like 6 minutes per chapter... seems rushy, very rushy... (i.e from around chapter 273 to 284 were episodes 194 to 212 so around 24 minutes per chapter)

If the 250+movie are excluding 1st season that leaves around 11.5 hour or around 15 minutes per chapter which is more on par with the overall time for the show (still gonna be a lil rushed but...)

I just smh at the thought of DD wrapping up in 12? eps LOL. TH/CS entrance here was definitely grand though--he's still the mvp of the series. I think when/if Fanren and Yong Sheng start airing again I'll have a much harder time staying away 😂

I think Tang Hao always get the award of Being the best at showing domineering entrance in the entire series he always gives me goosebumps every time he appears and those the one of the soul hall always feared him when he Appeared. And now bringing the entire Hao Tian Tribe the hammers drop form the sky like a raining meteor what a great entrance ever throughout the entire Donghua I have ever seen.
